Saturday October 8th
12:00 Line up for Sunshine Festival Parade behind the old Railway Station
1:00-2:00 Sunshine Festival Parade
2:30 Speedway Gates Open for Burnout Entrants
3:00 Scrutineering Begins
4:30 Gates open for the public
5:00 Scrutineering Closes
5:30 - late Midwest Skidfest Burnouts
Sunday October 9th
7:30 Cars to start parking up for the Sunshine Festival Car Display at the Foreshore
9:00 – 1:00 Car Display – Food / Drinks – Bathurst on the big screen
1:00 Peoples Choice Award
Burnouts will be held at the Geraldton Speedway. There will be some awesome displays of power and control, by some of the better known peddlers in the business.
With over 40 cars competing for $5000 in prize money, there is going to be some smashing of tyres, smoke-filled guards and punishing of engines like never before.
Bar and canteen facilities available.
Kids activities.
Freestyle Motocross entertainment during the breaks.
Tickets: Adults $20 Children $10 under 10 free.
Gates open at 4.30pm. Action starts at 5.30pm.
Practice session: 5.30pm – 7pm
Qualifying session: 7.30 – 9pm
Finals: 9.30pm
Come and watch this awesome spectacle under lights and enjoy a night out with the family.
